**Physician Assistant opening in Atlantic City, NJ** Full-Time Mid Career Level (2+ years) Medical Center is looking for a talented Family Medicine Physician Assistant with the highest level of professionalism to step into our fast-paced facility! The Physician Assistant provides the patient with cost effective care in a competent manner, to diagnose and treat illnesses and disorders consistent with medical protocols established with the collaborating physician. We offer flexible schedules with both part time and full time opportunities. General daytime hours Monday Friday with rotating Saturdays and at least one late night per week. COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required: *Exemption requests are subject to approval by administration. Position Responsibilities/Duties: - Provide complete medical examines to determine general health condition - Order and interpret tests as needed. - Diagnose and treat illnesses by determining a plan of action by collaborating with your supervising Provider. - Administer or prescribe treatment and drugs. - Providing patient counseling and education consistent with the direction of the supervising Physician. - Adhere to the medical staff policies and procedures. - Fills in when needed by co-workers and is on call at times Experience and Skills: - Masters degree from an accredited college or university - 1 year experience, 2-4 years preferred - NJ Physician Assistant license, DEA, and CPR - Experience working in a practice environment, community health experience preferred - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Bi-Lingual (Spanish) preferred Additional Information: - Specialty: Nurse Practitioner - Location: Atlantic City, New Jersey - Contact: Jeremy Baldi About the Company: Archway Physician Recruitment is a national contingency placement firm assisting hospitals and medical groups with their placement needs.
