We are looking for an experienced 3D Designer who not only excels in 3D modeling but also possesses comprehensive knowledge of composite manufacturing processes, including VARTM (Vacuum-Assisted Resin Transfer Molding), BIM (Bladder Inflation Molding), hand-lay-up, and autoclave technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and designs, optimizing them for efficient and high-quality composite production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D models and renderings of composite parts using industry-standard software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Rhino, or similar).
• Integrate knowledge of VARTM, BIM, hand-lay-up, and autoclave technology into the design process to ensure manufacturability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to understand requirements and constraints.
• Optimize designs for composite manufacturing, focusing on material efficiency and structural integrity.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and production guidelines.
• Conduct simulations and analyses to predict the behavior of composite structures under various conditions.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in composite materials and manufacturing technologies.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute innovative ideas to improve product designs and production processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a 3D Designer with a strong focus on composite materials and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Rhino, or similar).
• In-depth understanding of composite manufacturing techniques, including VARTM, BIM, hand-lay-up, and autoclave technology.
• Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience in the aerospace or automotive industry.
• Familiarity with additive manufacturing techniques and 3D printing of composite materials.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to composite materials.
