The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Business Data Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
• Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
• Structure large data sets to find usable information
• Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings, using your abilities to tell a story with the data
• Support business operations functions
• Assist Account Management/Product Owner team members on key projects

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

-OR-

• High School diploma/GED or higher and a minimum of seven (7) years equivalent experience in data analytics or data management

• Five (5) years working with complex data sets
• One (1) combined year of experience using Power BI and/or Microsoft Access

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree in business, marketing or equivalent preferred
• Experience working with SQL to analyze data
• Experience working in 3M Health Information Systems contracting software tools (e.g., Softrax, OnDemand, Viewstar, and Salesforce.com)
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Power Point, Word)
• Ability to move fast, be bold and thrive in a dynamic, quick changing environment
• Interest in technology and the ability to explain complex concepts in everyday terms
• Ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize according to revenue goals
• Healthcare industry experience

Travel: Occasional travel may be required

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Location: Remote USA
