The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Front-End Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Maintaining and improving an enterprise healthcare application's front-end layer built with Angular
• Collaborating with the product and user experience teams to refine and implement proposed designs
• Act as a mentor to other team members on Angular best practices
• Working with fellow software engineers and other team members to design and build required systems

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

OR

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and six (6) years of experience in front-end engineering

• Three (3) years of experience as a Front-End Engineer in a private, public, government or military environment
• One (1) year of experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Angular
• Experience developing front ends that consume micro-services exposed through REST endpoints
• Experience with distributed source code control systems, browser testing, and debugging
• Experience with applicable design patterns and the development process

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Thorough understanding of REST principles
• Experience developing REST services
• Experience with Spring Boot MVC
• Proficiency with NgRx
• Experience in healthcare
• Solid problem-solving skills

Travel: Occasional travel may be required

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Location: Remote Pittsburgh, Remote USA
