The Impact You'll Make in this Role

Develop next generation technology, innovating the health care industry. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Integration team, you will work on critical technology to pave the way for 3M | M*Modal's future products. We are looking for engineers who want to work in a fast paced, versatile, and rapidly changing environment. Engineers in this group should be comfortable working in a small, collaborative team, and enjoy the autonomy of making decisions to push products further. They should also be comfortable interfacing with customers and troubleshooting issues. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Work closely with other 3M | M*Modal product teams to meet the various needs of those groups.
• Contribute to, and take ownership of, several internal and external facing initiatives.
• Support existing and new customers by collaborating with, and assisting, members of client IT and testing teams.
• Collaborate with other team members on all phases of the software development cycle.
• Develop on the entire stack, from project bootstrapping to deployment.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and four (4) years of experience in Software Development

OR

• High School Diploma/GED or higher from a (completed and verified prior to start) and ten (10) years of experience in Software Development

• Three (3) years' Experience with C#
• Two (2) years of JavaScript and/or Typescript development knowledge
• Experience working on an agile team
• Experience working closely with internal and external customers

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Healthcare technology experience is a plus
• Experience with AWS technologies
• Understanding of containerization software, such as Docker

Work location:

• Work Your Way Eligible (Remote - US), Pittsburgh

Travel: May include up to 5%
