3PL Coordinator

We are looking for a 3PL Coordinator to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Logistics Director and will be based in Sunnyvale, CA.

Additional comments:

This position is responsible for supporting and continuous improvement of transportation and related logistics functions for Bloom Energy. Encompassing a wide range of programs and services in support of Materials Management and Global Sourcing initiatives, the 3PL Coordinator provides logistics solutions to Bloom manufacturing sites and our global supply chain. As a critical element of a synchronized supply chain, transportation and logistics must be focused on providing optimized in-transit inventory control at the lowest total landed cost

The individual should have demonstrated problem solving experience in the aforementioned areas. The qualified candidate should have demonstrated excellent business instincts, the ability to work independently, set priorities, manage resources and close on deliverables.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Deploy transportation and logistics initiatives on direction by Logistics leadership
• Review opportunities for improvement and maintain the relationship with Bloom Energy's Lead Logistics Providers globally
• Scheduling and coordinating the local materials delivery between Bloom energy sites utilizing Kanban and lean material concepts
• Document, implement and improve logistics processes and procedures
• Track transportation savings, ensuring attainment of all productivity and cost out objectives.
• Ensure effective and efficient operation and adhere to policies and practices
• Maintain peer relationships in order to achieve Bloom Energy objectives and customer expectations.
• Interact with management and employees on matters pertaining to the shipment and delivery of related items.
• Train operational customers (internal & external) on transportation and logistics processes and initiatives to increase awareness and compliance.
• Coordinate logistics activities with Bloom Energy carriers to ensure timely and complete delivery and receipt of materials

Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in logistics
• Oracle ERP experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented, with proven ability to work cross-functionally
• Excellent PC/application skills MS Excel, MS Outlook
