Sourcing Analyst - Co-Man

The Sourcing Analyst - Co-Man is an integral position within the 3PM team. This role is an essential member to the 3PM Team by supporting Co-Man sourcing and operations managers across wet and care & treats pet food technologies for Mars Pet Nutrition US/Canada.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 + years of relevant business experience
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field
• Ability to convey communications clearly and concisely
• MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint functional skills
• Successful completion of a drug and background test

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of business experience
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics or CPG industry
• Experience with data aggregation tools such as Smartsheets, Power BI, Tableau

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Provide analytical support and input for forecasts, capacity utilization planning, various procurement events (RFI, RFP, RFQ, etc.), negotiations, procurement strategies, cash delivery, should-cost model creation, order optimization, and other procurement tools to drive value for the business.
• Lead key business initiatives with the external supplier base - Supplier Agility through Lead-time reduction, Risk Methods supplier financial health monitoring, development and execution of supplier scorecards, and sustainability data requests
• Identify areas of opportunity including innovation, efficiencies, and cost savings
• Drive fundamental market research, intelligence, and competitive insight generation to guide proactive business decisions, key inputs for category sourcing strategies, and deliver long term productivity and/or supply chain opportunities
• Understand category strategies, supply base, and MPC business environment to provide creative supply solutions
• Key succession role within the 3PM Sourcing Team, with potential for future category management opportunities
