3rd Line / Software Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated 3rd Line / Software Maintenance Engineer who is adept at managing and securing software systems through real-time vulnerability management.

The successful candidate will leverage advanced tools and cloud technologies to safeguard assets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and responsive security protocols.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and mitigate vulnerabilities within software environments
• Harness technologies including Qualys, Wireshark, Docker, and Kubernetes for effective vulnerability identification and remediation
• Engage with major cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and GCP to fortify software security
• Partner with IT Security, IT departments, and asset owners to deliver timely alerts and actionable remediation strategies
• Continuously update knowledge of emerging security practices and potential vulnerabilities

Requirements

• Proven track record in security engineering, emphasizing security management
• Proficiency in utilizing vulnerability management tools like Qualys
• Understanding of network security principles and associated technologies
• Background in working with cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Fluent in English at a B2 proficiency level
• Capability to work autonomously and remotely

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, and security monitoring techniques
• Background in utilizing security tools such as Wireshark, Docker, and Kubernetes
