4-Full Stack Engineer 2 (3-5 Years)

The Role

As an experienced software engineer, you will be able to drive the creation and adoption of cloud-based technologies to create new digital opportunities and touch points with our customers based on extremely rich and large sets of data. The processes created will also include integration and usage of AI algorithms at scale to provide the best customer experience possible. You will also be working with colleagues who are responsible for both the Personalization Platform and the Experimentation Platform, having the ability to work across several areas and technologies to enable fantastic customer experiences across our digital and live channels!

• Supporting the effort to connect data to customer experiences utilizing scalable, reliable and resilient cloud services
• Executing engineering best practices across all aspects of the development lifecycle

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's or Higher Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc) required
• Experience in cloud services, preferably AWS
• Experience in Object Oriented Programming, including Java, Python, RESTful APIs and in-memory technologies (caching, etc).
• Knowledge of backend Databases (Snowflake, NoSQL) and AWS Cloud Services (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB)
• Knowledge of messaging technologies, such as SNS, SQS, Kafka, Kenisis
• Experience in DevSecOps, including Git-Hub, Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience in Agile methodologies (SCRUM and Kanban) as well as supporting tool stacks (Jira)

The Team

This role will be part of the Customer Data and Marketing Technologies group within Fidelity's Personal Investing (PI) organization, supporting the Personalization and Experimentation Platforms.
