Locums Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment at an acute hospital in Steubenville, Ohio. This role calls for a skilled PA who will provide comprehensive cardiovascular and thoracic surgical care, with responsibilities that span hospital rounding, surgical assistance, and clinic support.   In this role, you will perform hospital rounds on cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients, ensuring consistent and quality care. Responsibilities include assisting in critical surgical procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, and other cardiac surgeries. Additionally, you will support pre- and post-operative patient care in the clinic setting and provide 24-hour call coverage as required.Requirements:·         ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)·         DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration certification)·         NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)·         Active and unrestricted Ohio license Steubenville, situated along the Ohio River, is known for its welcoming community and historic charm.
