Adult or Child Psychiatry opening in ME Located in Fort Kent 55m to Caribou Full-time; permanent Join a dedicated hospital highly focused on your success. We take great pride in providing excellence and service to our communities, in a manner that is compassionate and competent Full-time, salaried position, $300,000, plus WRVU incentive. Workweek will be Monday through Friday, call rotation with one other Psychiatrist. Workload will consist of outpatient with some inpatient coverage. Average number of outpatients is 16 per day. Will work with 1 adult/child psychiatrist and 3 Mental Health NP. 49-Bed hospital with 7-bed child unit and 9-bed adult unit, average census is 8.5 beds and average length of stay is 14 days. Child unit usually 6 years of age and above, occasionally below 6 years of age. BENEFITS INCLUDE: Earned Time Benefit. Earned time may be used by Provider for vacation, holidays, or sick leave, and the six (6) major holidays. Will pay Providers necessary licensing with the Board of Medicine and DEA fees in Maine for the duration of this Agreement. Sign on bonus, $100K for a three-year contract, $33K at the beginning of year 1 & 2 and $34K on the 3rd year. Assist with continuing medical education and will provide financial assistance with expenses associated with continuing medical education. (Amount of days and assistance determined upon contract) Student Loan Repayment Programs available. Hospital housing (if available) may be provided free of charge for 3 months. Financial assistance for professional dues and subscriptions. Will provide professional liability insurance coverage. Will offer Provider to participate in current Health Plan. Provider is responsible for employee portion of the premium. Payroll deductions are available for family coverage. Plan is subject to change and details may be verified with Human Resources. Voluntary, tax-free Tax Sheltered Annuity Plan is available for Provider through payroll deductions. Will provide and pay for 100% short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance based on current policies.
