Locums Anestheiologist Physician

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Locums Anesthesiologist to join our team in New Jersey. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals seeking a flexible schedule with no call or weekend obligations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in General Anesthesiology and may also possess a Pediatric fellowship. Urgent coverage is needed to address significant vacancies, and we are open to providers who need to apply for a New Jersey license.Job Schedule: Monday to Friday Shifts: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm or 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (8-10 hour days) No weekends or on-call responsibilities  Job Requirements: Must have a clean file and background Active New Jersey Medical License and DEA Pediatric fellowship required ACLS, BLS, PALS certification Board certification or within less than 5 years of completion of training Experience with General and Major regional procedures EMR experience with Epic Ability to work in a care team module with 15 CRNAs and 100 MDs Familiarity with a Level II Trauma center Average monthly case volume: 4000 Average credentialing time: 90 days without a current NJ license Temporary privileges available with an existing and active NJ license  Facility Details: 5 Operating Rooms Case Mix: General, GYN, ENT, Urology, Orthopedic, Spine, OB, Trauma, Kidney Transplant, and Oncology Services Care model: Physicians only May occasionally cover at other nearby surgery centers Urgent coverage needed due to significant vacancies Additional Information: - Specialty: Anesthesiology - Location: Hackensack, New Jersey - Contact: AAS Healthcare Staffing About the Company: AAS Healthcare Staffing, a national Permanent Provider Staffing and Locum Tenens partner, leverages over a decade of expertise to meet healthcare providers’ and healthcare delivery clients’ needs.
