Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Frequently lifts and carries parts and equipment weighting up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds. At times, may push or pull larger assemblies weighting up to 100 pounds.
Work requires frequent bending, stooping, standing and working in cramped positions.
Typically works inside in areas that are usually well lighted, heated and ventilated. Exposed to noise, dust, grease, and to the possibility of cuts, bruises, abrasions and electrical shock.

Position, duty hours, location and/or activity are subject to change based on mission requirements.
Qualifications
Demonstrated work experience that furnish the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform the duties of this position consistent with accepted practices of the trade as indicated above.
Ability to use and maintain appropriate tools and equipment.
Ability to read, understand and apply instruction and other materials related to the job.
Work experience must include repair work in the type of equipment mentioned above to include the knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the profession.
Motor vehicle operation requires a valid driver's license.
Education

PCS Costs
Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
FWS Allowances and Differentials
This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
