practitioner candidates to join the Emergency Medicine Department at our hospitals in Central
PA. Clinical Details:Rotating 4 central PA hospital emergency departments:Harrisburg Hospital urban
setting with 61,000 visits per year, 52-Bed Emergency DepartmentCommunity General Hospital community
setting with 31,000 visits per year, 21 bed Emergency DepartmentWest Shore Hospital community
setting with 27,000 visits per year, 28 bed Emergency DepartmentCarlisle Hospital community setting
with 27,000 visits per year, 27Â bed Emergency DepartmentStaffed by a strong, experienced APP

graduates or those new to emergency medicine will be placed into APEP:EM which is a structured
educational postgraduate transition to top of license practice program for Advanced Practice
Providers (APPs). Goals of APEP Program: To provide consistent, evidence based, and structured
education on specialty specific; typical and atypical patient presentations. The focus will be on
appropriate management, intervention, and the disposition of the Emergency Department PatientProgram
Structure: The 12-month program will follow the NCCPA content blueprint which includes
cardiovascular, dermatologic, endocrine, eyes, ears, nose, throat, gastrointestinal, genitourinary,
hematologic, musculoskeletal, neurologic, psycho-behavioral, pulmonary, renal, reproductive,
environmental, infectious disease, toxicology, trauma, procedures, and other skills.About South
