Located at Lake Buena Vista on Walt Disney World® property Learn more about this agency Duties Responsible for the overall operation of a department within the sales store. Operates a cash register, records sales and gives change. Opens and closes registers according to established procedures. Prices merchandise and make it available to customers in store. Assists customers in making selections or recommends substitute merchandise.Assists senior buyer in merchandise selection and ordering process to include working with vendors, ordering and receiving merchandise, processing documents associated with ordering and receiving. Monitors stock levels, participates in formal inventories. Leads the work of other employees within the department, gives guidance and instructions on specific task or daily functions of stocking, merchandise display and selling activities. Establishes work assignments to meet peak loads and emergencies. Enforces operating procedures and established standards. Performs other duties as assigned. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. All qualification requirements must include experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level.
