Hawaii Multispecialty Group Seeking Gastroenterologists Location:  Kailua-Kona Hawaii Island (the Big Island) Position Details:  Join and establish gastroenterology practice at a multispecialty group with 40+ providers.  The group has been established for almost 20 years. years and has a strong primary care base with physicians in various subspecialty areas, including urology, pediatrics, orthopedic surgery, gastroenterology, infectious disease, and cardiology . These positions are available due to strong community need for additional gastroenterologists. This practice has a free-standing Ambulatory Surgery Center. Hospital and surgery center imaging capabilities include CT, MRI Sonography, Nuclear Medical and Diagnostic X-rays.      Hospital Affiliation:  The physicians hold privileges at a full service not for profit 94-bed acute care hospital and level 111 trauma center serving the residents and visitors of the West Hawaii region.   Compensation and Benefits   Base salary of $540,000 with $20,000 sign-on bonus and $20,000 relocation stipend Professional Liability Insurance Generous paid time off 20 Days 3 sick days per year; 10 paid holidays per year. 10 days paid CME leave per year: up to $5,000 CME reimbursement/year. Individual Health Insurance Life Insurance Policy ($30,000), with option to increase coverage; TDI/short-term disability; and Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Flexible Spending Account There is an additional charge for dependent or family coverage of benefits. Retirement Plans: Eligibility after six months of service with contribution of3% of your gross earnings.
