Duties
You will be responsible for the accomplishment of broad management functions with the planning, management, administration and implementation of the technical and administrative operations of the housing management programs.
You will review Inspector General (IG) and audit reports of installation housing management to assure appropriate response and corrective action.
You will review and interpret DOD, USMC, and installation orders and policies for impact on the Public Private Venture (PPV) programs.
You will plan, schedule, and coordinate the work among office specialists.
You will establish work priorities and deadlines; explaining work requirements and methodologies to be used and executed; outlining procedures to employees as needed.
You will review work in progress or upon completion; approving leave and timecards; reviewing and authorizing employee travel; completing annual performance reviews.
You will coordinate actions/correspondence with other installation staff offices.

Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Position requires the employee to drive a motor vehicle. Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a valid government driver’s license.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Comprehensive Housing Management experience, Knowledge of Fair housing laws, basic understanding of Public Private Venture (PPV) program, Comprehensive knowledge of housing codes, policies, regulation and law.

This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
