**Full-Time Critical Care Intensivist****Location: Westminster, MD****Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Critical Care Intensivist**A leading healthcare system in Maryland is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Critical Care Intensivist to join its established Critical Care team. This full-time position offers a mix of academic and community hospital settings, providing a diverse patient population and collaborative environment.Position Highlights• Approximately 13–14 twelve-hour shifts per month (mix of days, nights, and weekends).• Average of 4–5 night shifts per month, with dedicated nocturnists providing majority night coverage.• Opportunity to provide inpatient pulmonology coverage if desired.• Work with a team of 11 full-time Intensivists and 8 full-time Advanced Practice Providers.• Closed ICUs with strong multidisciplinary support and established protocols.• Teaching and mentoring opportunities with medical students and residents.• Diverse case mix, from moderate- to high-acuity patients.Procedural Skills• Central and arterial line placement (ultrasound-guided)• Intubation and airway management• Thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar puncture• Chest tube insertion (small and large bore)• Intraosseous (IO) line placement• Bedside ultrasound and procedural guidanceQualifications• Fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine required.• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine.• BE/BC in Pulmonology preferred but not required.• Eligible for unrestricted Maryland medical license, DEA, and CDS certification.• BLS and ACLS certification required.• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach.• Interest in teaching medical students and residents.Compensation & Benefits• Competitive base salary ($200K–$500K, based on experience and certification).• Additional productivity and incentive compensation opportunities.• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.• Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).• 401(k) and deferred compensation retirement plans.• CME allowance, relocation reimbursement, and malpractice coverage.• Reimbursement for credentialing and licensing fees.• Complimentary parking and employee fitness center discounts.CommunityLocated in Westminster, MD, the area offers top-rated schools, vibrant communities, and easy access to Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and the Chesapeake Bay—ideal for a balanced professional and personal lifestyle.
