Resort Facilities Manager NF-04

Summary Serves as a Resort Facilities Manager in the Engineering Department of the Hale Koa Hotel. 2024 Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) for Honolulu, HI is 8.90%. This position will remain open until filled with a first cutoff date of 10 December 2024 for employment consideration. Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and various hours of the day and week when required. Qualifications 1. Must be highly skilled in the maintenance and operations of the civil, mechanical, and electrical requirements associated with large hotels or other occupied type facilities. 2. Must have work experience in a large resort/hotel or other occupied facility at an assistant manager level or higher in an engineering capacity. 3. Must have work experience managing a workforce of 10 or more to include subordinate supervisors, leaders and employees. 4. Must have experience with budgeting processes, engineering contract options and experience with a standalone engineering environment. HIGHLY QUALIFIED CRITERIA FOR THIS POSITION ARE: - Highly preferred are those candidates who also have a baccalaureate degree in facility management, engineering or other related technical discipline. - Experience with serving as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and as a liaison for service contracts and agencies.
