The Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist is responsible for performing all functions and procedures in the Pulmonary Laboratory including pulmonary function testing and cardiopulmonary exercise testing.

8-16 hours a week - flexible schedule

**Must be proficient with Vyaire Vmax 22 machine

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Graduate from an approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience through an approved Respiratory Therapy Program and relevant employment as a Respiratory Therapist/Pulmonary Function Technologist
• Comprehensive knowledge of Pulmonary Laboratory Policies and Procedures.
• Comprehensive knowledge in Pulmonary Function Testing.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• BA or AAS in Respiratory Care.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician
• Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist Certificate if performing Cardiopulmonary stress tests.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

• NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
