Psychiatrist needed for inpatient only with a non-profit organization in Baltimore. This health system is licensed for 1947 beds and earns approximately $2 billion in net revenues per year. This is a dual academic-clinical role where you will provide direct patient care on the inpatient psychiatric units along with teaching responsibilities. Faculty also receive an academic appointment through The GWU School of Medicine, Washington, DC.3 sites - you will be assigned to one site but may occassionally be required to provide care at other locations..  M-F schedule with a patient census of 10-12 inpatient patients.  Support the NPs in administrative hearings and clinical review. NPs are independently licensed practitioners..  After-hours call coverage is provided by both APPs and MDs with additional compensation based on a call schedule which is formulated in advance.
