The service consists of 2 full-time physicians and 4 APPs (CRNPs/PAs) who provide inpatient care and collaborate with ER, specialists and primary care physicians. Opportunity Details Patient load can be 8 -18 adult inpatients per day from admission through discharge. Work schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off, 12-hour shifts, with nights covered by APPs and UPMC telemedicine. NO CALL responsibilities. No OB or peds. No procedures and no ICU responsibilities. UPMC Bedford is an acute care, 40-bed community hospital with medical, surgical, cardiac care and telemetry services, with a variety of diagnostic, treatment and rehab services. The medical staff is augmented by specialists who hold regular office hours in Bedford County, and provide inpatient and telemedicine consults.
