Summary You will serve as a PRESCRIPTION EYEGLASS MAKER WORKER in the Naval Ophthalmic Readiness Activity (NORA) of NMRLC DET NORA CLEJ. The Screen-out Element for this position is:ABILITY TO INSPECT Verifying finished ophthalmic lenses and eyewear products ensuring accuracy to prescribed prescription including power of distance and reading, axis, and pupillary distance Checking eyewear for proper frame and lens bench alignment and making minor adjustments to the frame and lens when required Using lens analyzer and lensometer to perform quality assurance checks of lenses Verifying equipment calibration prior to start of daily activities Ensuring lenses and eyewear products are in compliance with current American National Standards Institute (ANSI) guidelines.
