Summary This position is located within the NAF Support Services Division, DFMWR, Fort McCoy, WI. Announcement will a have a first cut office date of March 15, 2026. This will be either a Regular Full-Time or Part-Time position. Eligible for leave accrual & benefits. Duties Maintains property accountability records. Prepares, issue, turn-in and other transaction documents for nonexpendable property. Establishes and maintains files. Physically inventories property at periodic intervals. Prepares inventory adjustments as appropriate. Reviews and edits requisitions, assures data is correct. Revises quantities ordered based on number of items on hand. Investigates receiving documents involving discrepancies. Process receipt transactions for material being received. Prepares a variety of purchase request requiring knowledge of Army procurement regulation. Ensures all purchase request documents are complete prior to initiating an acquisition. Lifts and carries light to medium weight items and objects, such as packages, cartons, boxes and tools, and places them in specified locations using a hand truck if necessary. Replaces light bulbs. Maintains stock of cleaning material and equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/T1 background requirements for this position to include a physical. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Must possess a valid state driver's license. Also, must be able to qualify and obtain a military operators license. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry light to medium objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to actively bend, stoop, reach and work in awkward positions. Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors during special events. Business operations are Monday-Friday but is subject to change and will be based on the needs of the activity. Nights, weekends and holidays are required during MWR events. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience related to the duties of the position. Basic typing skills. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess a minimum of one (1) year NAF experience. Possess a minimum of one (1) year experience with government/Army procurement processes and regulations, including the preparation of purchase requests. Possess one (1) year work experience using Microsoft Excel for data management, tracking, and record keeping. Proven experience in property accountability, including conducting physical inventories, processing transaction documents, and resolving discrepancies. Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
