(Charlotte Metro Region), North CarolinaResponsibilitiesWe have an excellent opportunity for an
experienced full-time Pediatrician, to play a leadership role in a brand new, 10 bed LDRP Level-I
Nursery, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont which is scheduled to open beginning of
2025About the Practice This Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a yearAn average
daily census of about 5 newbornsPediatric Hospitalist will be responsible for daily rounds on
newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from homePractitioners would also
stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia
for newborns needing higher level care°The Belmont team will consist of 4 NNPs/Pediatric Hospitlaist
with the sister LEVEL III NICU staffed by 2 neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs who provide care at CaroMont
Regional Medical Center- Gastonia, which is only 7 miles away. Hospital InformationBelmont Medical
