The team you'll be part of
The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia's Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
We need a talented software developer to further the tremendous success of the 4ESS product. The 4ESS has been providing high level successful service to our customer. We are continuing to upgrade from Legacy Platforms to off the shelf platforms. We believe in Subject Matter Expertise and code ownership. We keep the process simple, so developers can focus on code. If you are proud of your code, you belong on our team.
What you will learn and contribute to
As part of our team, you will:
- Design the architecture of the new tool's platform
- Test the tools you develop
- Maintain the tools developed, providing Customer support and technical assistance
- Diagnosis and fix Customer reported issues.
- Will learn 4ESS/N4E Data Models and provisioning schemes.
Your skills and experience
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, EE, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Experience developing application software in c/c++ software.
- Basic knowledge of Solaris OSs (Solaris 8, Solaris 11)
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Knowledge of IBM ClearCase version 4.2 tools
- Knowledge Qunitus Prolog 3.4 tools
- Knowledge of prolog and java
