Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes. You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment. This position is eligible for telework on a situational basis. The incumbent must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license to travel to dispersed sites within the local commuting areas The incumbent may be required to work overtime. Call back and emergency overtime are regular requirements of this position. Overtime may be required, but not guaranteed on a regular basis. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviews and enforces the management of contractor's quality control program and adherence to contract requirements; 2) Ensure contractor compliance of safety and health requirements; 3) Ensures projects progress on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with all applicable technical, safety and quality control requirements. Additional information This is a Term appointment not to exceed 4 years. Term appointments may be extended up to 8 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations. Additionally, you may be noncompetitively converted to a permanent career-conditional or career appointment under specific conditions. This announcement uses the Defense Industrial Base, Major Range and Test Facilities direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.
