Locums Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in Mishawaka, Indiana. This role involves both office and on-call responsibilities, providing comprehensive care to high-risk pregnancies.  As a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician, you will manage and treat high-risk pregnancies. Responsibilities include performing specialized procedures such as amniocentesis, fetal echocardiograms, and transvaginal cerclage. You will also provide genetic counseling and oversee conditions such as growth restriction, multiple pregnancies, chromosomal abnormalities, pre-term labor, congenital abnormalities, and pre-eclampsia. In addition, you will manage both vaginal and cesarean births, and your expertise will extend to birth defects, genetic disorders, hypertension, and thrombophilia. The office performs fetal echocardiograms, and certification in advanced imaging and ultrasound procedures is required.   Shift Details:   Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the office closed on Fridays. The position requires 24/7 weeknight and weekend on-call coverage.   Requirements:   Board Certified with Maternal-Fetal Medicine Subspecialty Certification AIUM, NT certifications required for ultrasound and imaging Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification Indiana medical license required   Mishawaka, known as the “Princess City,” is located near South Bend, Indiana, offering a rich cultural scene, affordable living, and a welcoming community.
