Locums OBGYN-Laborist Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified OBGYN Laborist Physician for a locum tenens position in Milford, MA. This role is based in an inpatient setting and provides essential labor and delivery care. Shift Details include flexible 12- or 24-hour shifts, with day shifts running from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. This position does not require call duties and oversees approximately 1,100 deliveries annually. As the on-shift Laborist, your primary role is to provide labor and delivery services, including performing both cesarean and vaginal deliveries. You will also handle emergency department and phone consultations as needed and serve as the primary Laborist on duty, with physician backup available as necessary. You’ll work alongside a skilled team of four Physician Assistants and dedicated nursing staff to ensure high-quality care for patients during labor and delivery.   Qualifications:   Board Certification in OBGYN Active CSR and DEA (or eligibility to obtain) Proficiency in labor and delivery care within an inpatient setting Milford, MA, is a town located in Worcester County in central Massachusetts.  The town has a rich history dating back to the 17th century and was once known for its thriving textile mills and shoe factories.
