Opportunity available for a Board Eligible/Board Certified General Surgeon, situated in a flourishing city within a two-hour drive of Dallas/Fort Worth. This position is offered at a regional medical center, which is an acute care facility with 188 beds. It also operates as a level 4 trauma center, ensuring round-the-clock emergent care and offering on-site access to helicopter transport when necessary. Hospital Employee, Traditional.  Assigned Call with Minimal Call Ratio.  CME up to 1 week and $5,000 available.  Retirement plan provided.  Attractive yearly salary + lucrative incentive program.  30 days a year of PTO plus 18 weeks of sick leave.  Potential student loan repayment and monthly training stipend (up to 24 months).  Texas license fees reimbursement .  The community provides amenities such as an aquatic center, a large recreational lake, and various activities suitable for the whole family to enjoy.  Malpractice coverage would begin the first day and includes tail coverage.
