Surgical Oncologist

Mount Sinai Services at NYC Health + Hospital/Queens is seeking a full time Surgical Oncologist for our Queens Cancer Center. This Center of Excellence is the only state-of the-art comprehensive cancer center in the borough of Queens.

Responsibilities entail giving surgical oncology care to cancer patients at the Queens Cancer Center.

Responsibilities are shared equally with one other surgical oncologist including outpatient clinics, ambulatory and inpatient surgery, in-patient consults and post-operative care. Patient mix includes all gastrointestinal malignancies, sarcomas and breast cancer.

Each Surgical Oncologist has a full time Nurse Practitioner working with them.

All Surgical Oncologists have Academic appointments at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Position has a good life balance; it is close to midtown Manhattan and located in the center of a culturally rich and diverse family oriented community.
