Summary This position is located at the Seward Military Resort in Seward, Alaska. Incumbent is required to relocate to and reside in Seward, Alaska (at your own expense). Incentives and Bonuses Up to 25% recruitment and/or retention incentive may be authorized. Housing may be provided on a space available basis. Duties Opens and/or closes facilities by locking/unlocking doors and windows, and assuring security system is operable. Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users. Collects applicable fees for items issued, accounts for monies collected safeguards funds and makes daily bank deposits. Monitors inventories and number and condition of items on hand. Pre-checks and prepares equipment for customers, explains use, and monitors proper usage. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation. Some positions require applicants to be at least 18 to be eligible for employment. May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays on a regular basis or as needed. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Must have and retain a valid drivers license. 2. Demonstrate ability to perform the duties described above. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
