Interventional Cardiologist Opportunity in Danville, PA Location: Danville, PA Work Type: Full time Department: Cardiology Department Job Summary: We are seeking board certified/board eligible Interventional Cardiologists with a focus and passion for complex coronary interventions including CHIP to join our flagship facility in Danville, PA. Job Duties: The ideal candidate would be an early career or mid-career interventional cardiologist with experience and training in advanced coronary interventions. Although CHIP training is not a requirement, it would be strongly preferred. Current scope of interventional cardiology includes STEMI care, percutaneous coronary interventions, atherectomy (rotational, laser), shockwave therapy, brachytherapy, etc. The facility has a robust structural heart disease program including TAVR, TEER, TMVR, Tricuspid interventions, ASD/PFO closures, etc. The facility also prides itself on the ability to insert ECMO percutaneously in the cath lab. The facility is recognized as a comprehensive heart attack center and has been acknowledged for setting standards in care coordination. Position Details: System-wide, the Heart and Vascular Institute includes a large team of Cardiologists, Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Vascular Surgeons, and Advanced Practitioners. Services are provided at multiple locations including Danville, PA; Wilkes-Barre, PA; Scranton, PA; and State College, PA. Comprehensive care for pediatric heart patients is also offered, with a dedicated team at the childrens hospital. Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (Required).
