About Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center: Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center located in Montclair, NJ- 20 mi from NYC, is searching for a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician to serve as the Internal Medicine Teaching Faculty to IM Residents. Our 365-bed medical center is dedicated to providing world-class healthcare in a community setting. We offer innovative treatment alternatives at specialized centers focused on imaging, women’s health, cancer care, surgery, obesity, stroke, and chronic kidney disease. Our hospital is a designated Primary Stroke Center by the NJ State Department of Health and Senior Services. It is one of the few community hospitals licensed to perform emergency and elective cardiac angioplasty. Position Highlights: Team: Join a team of more than 4 skilled IM Faculty supported by dedicated support staff. Services: A mix of teaching and clinically seeing patients as an acute care and primary care internist. Location: Conveniently located in Montclair, NJ, across from Mountainside Medical Center. Affiliation: Part of the reputable Hackensack Meridian Health network. Program: ACGME accredited program with 26 Residents on site.   Position Requirement: ·       Board Certification: Candidates should be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine or Family Medicine ·       Medical Licensure: A valid medical license to practice in New Jersey, CDS, and DEA is required. ·       Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Required ·       Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification: Preferred ·       Minimum of 2 years experience as an educator/primary care in Internal Medicine ·       Prior faculty experience is a plus   Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Salary: Base salary plus wRVU production incentive.
