Hospital, located in Asheville, North Carolina, is excited to welcome a seasoned/experienced acute
care surgery Medical Director to our busy program. Our Trauma center is currently ACS level II, and
we have completed a level I consultation visit. Qualified Candidates:
Board certified in General
SurgeryBoard certified in Surgical Critical CareATLS certificationExcellent interpersonal &
communication skillsMust have experience as Medical Director or Associate Medical Director in a
Level I or II Trauma CenterWillingness to perform in hybrid role with minimum 40% administrative
duties/responsibilitiesPlease note that this position does not offer visa support

Highlights:
Team covers equal mix of trauma, surgical critical care and emergency general surgeryNo
24-hour shift requirement; day shifts are 10.5 hours; nights are 13.5Large, stable and established
