This is a 420-bed regional referral center in southeast Alabama and it manages its own Hospitalist program. The current practice includes 3 physicians covering the 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. shift. Call today for an introduction.Provide coverage for unassigned patients who present to ED requiring inpatient care, care for transfers, and in hospital consults.  Admit and co-manage with Intensivist support adult patients in critical care.  24/7 Pulm/Critical Care support for all CC admissions.  Manage patients in Clinical Decision Unit.  24 hour subspecialty support available for all specialties including presence of an in-house Radiology physician 24/7.  No call required.  7 on/7 off rotation for days and 12 shifts per month for nights.  Competitive compensation package with productivity bonus.  $100,000 Signing bonus package.  Paid malpractice and tail coverage.  CME and licensure fee allowance.  Comprehensive benefits package.  Level 2 trauma center with EM residency trained physicians.  Robust IM Hospitalist program provides ED unassigned coverage, care for transfers, and inpatient consults.
