**Nocturnist opening near Fayetteville, NC** * Located in ***Clinton, NC*** - just 34 miles from Fayetteville! * Service area of 65,000 people * Full-time, permanent opening * Hospital-employed position * Must be ***BC/BE Family Medicine or Med/Peds*** * Approximately 14 shifts/month * Highly competitive salary and hospital benefits! * Relocation and tuition repayment offered * Bonus negotiable **Responsibilities include:** * Round on Adult and Pediatric patients (great mix for individual who wants the excitement of a hospitalists position but still seeing patients from all ages) * Attend emergent caesarian sections and round in the newborn nursery (NRP certification is required) * Admit patients from the ER, as well as directly from primary care offices * Run codes/round in the ICU * Care for skilled care and swing bed patients * Work independently, with specialty doctors available by phone for on-call requirements * Procedures optional * Comfortable with ventilator * MediTech EMR * Nocturnist can expect to have 5 patient encounters per night & 3-4 emergency department admissions **About the hospital:** A 146-bed hospital and health system located in Clinton, NC.
