Locums Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Located less than an hour from Boston, Providence & Cape Cod. We are searching for a locums/PRN Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care Physician Assistant The APP will have a clinical staff of an RN, LPN, or an MA as well as a Medical Office Coordinator (MOC). No appointments are booked until 24 hours prior, however most day of appointments are only scheduled by call center or calls made by other departments to the Urgent Care MOC. If triage is needed it is done by the RN/LPN/MA or MD/NP. This is not an Emergency Department and therefore we do not see head injuries, heart attacks or life-threatening conditions as these go directly to the Hospital. Unlike other Urgent Care's we typically don't do walk-in appointments. Must be licensed to practice in Massachusetts. Master's level (MSN), adult health nurse practitioner license and ANNC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) certification required. Must be prescriptive eligible with 2 years prior experience required.  Must have Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine Experience.
