Position requires Project Management certification. Qualifications GS-13: In order to qualify for the GS-13 grade level, your resume must reflect one year of full time experience equivalent in complexity and difficulty to at least the GS-12 grade level in Federal service 1) applying a wide range of project management methods to complex water resources, power generation, or environmental resource management projects; 2) coordinating programs collaboratively with other staff, leadership and stakeholders having varied and overlapping responsibilities and differing concerns and priorities; AND 3) experience preparing and tracking budgets, creating timelines, preparing scopes of work/contracts/agreements, and technical report writing. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Selective Placement Factor: This position requires a current, valid Project Management Certification. Failure to provide proof of such license will cause you to be rated ineligible for this position. You must meet all Eligibility and Qualification requirements, including any selective placement factors if applicable, by 12/24/2024. Education This position does not allow substituting education for experience. Additional information You will be required to serve an initial probationary period. Current, permanent Federal employees who are selected from this announcement will be required to serve a probationary period. You may be required to serve an initial supervisory probation period. Reclamation has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and you may be allowed to telework with supervisory approval. Full time telework or remote work is not available for this position; if selected you will be required to report to the office in Glendale, AZ on a regular basis. Permanent Change of Station (PCS) expenses are authorized with the exception of the Guaranteed Home Sale Provision or first-post-of-duty relocation expenses are authorized, as applicable.
