Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the FAMCAMP at Davis Monthan AFB. This position is a Flex Position. Flexible positions are guaranteed 0 hours but may work up to 40 hours per week. No benefit. Learn more about this agency Duties Responsible for manning the customer service desk with the FamCamp. Greets and assists guests with check-in and check-out procedures. Takes reservations and payment for FamCamp guests. Operates a Point of Sa les (POS) system, handling all monetary transactions include safe cash handling procedures. Prepares daily cashier reports and makes deposits. Monitors activities of FamCamp patrons to ensure rules and regulations are complied with. Assists in performing inventory of daily supplies and replenish supply items as needed. Keeps supervisor informed of any problems or conflicts. Maintains area in clean and orderly condition both inside and outside of building removing debris. s with group activities which require more than one staff monitor; performing specifically assigned tasks. Operates FamCamp vehicles safely and IAW established directives. Qualifying Experience: Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures. Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable; however, no experience is required. Must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement..
