Recreation Assistant (Lifeguard) NF-02

This is a Standing Register Job Announcement to provide a ready pool of available applicants as needed. Applicants will be referred to selecting officials as vacancies occur.

Initial Cut-off is: 11/13/2024 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Applications received by this cut-off will be considered first and possibly referred to the Hiring Official. Applications received after this cut-off will only be considered if the Hiring Official does not select from the Initial Cut-Off list or if additional vacancies occur.

The position is located at the Magrath Sports Complex (Pool).

Area of Consideration:

• The AREA OF CONSIDERATION for this vacancy announcement is U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation and reside within the Local Commuting Area (defined as 100-mile radius) of Fort Drum, NY.
  
  Spouse Employment Preference (SEP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) are included in this area of consideration.

• This is a pay-banded position.
• Sunday Premium and Night Differential pay have NOT been authorized by the Garrison Commander or the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Flexible positions with no guaranteed hours.

• Incentives will NOT be paid.

• A nonforeign area allowance or differential is not granted to employees in payband levels NF-1 and NF-2 since their rates already are based on the prevailing rate.
