Job ID: N/A Join a team in Eureka, California, providing both inpatient and outpatient urology care on a locum tenens basis. You’ll be covering supplemental clinical shifts with call responsibilities, starting June 1, 2026 and ongoing. Typical schedule is Monday–Thursday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with additional night and weekend beeper call 7–10 days per month (20–30 minute response time). Coverage windows needing filled: Jun 16–23, Jul 1–8, Aug 18–25, Oct 2–5, Dec 21–24. What you’ll manage Average patient volume: ~16 per day Department beds: 6; Level III trauma center Procedures include general urology and advanced techniques: endoscopy, laparoscopy, ureteroscopy, PCNL, radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, TRUS biopsies, renal and bladder ultrasound EMR: EPIC Team & support 2 RNs, 3 MAs, and 4 office staff will support your clinical work Hospital privileges required Logistics & coverage Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided Requirements Active CA medical license Active fluoroscopy license Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) ACLS certification Case logs available If you’re comfortable with a mix of inpatient/outpatient cases and being on beeper call, this is a well-supported locum role in a community hospital setting.
