PM&R Physician (Physiatrist) Full Time

St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) is actively recruiting a full-time PM&R Physician (Physiatrist) with an optional Medical Director role (small % FTE) that includes a stipend. This role joins our ARU and collaborative, collegial team of providers. Our approach to patient care is based on compassionate, personalized service, clinical excellence, and leveraging advanced medical technology.   About the position: 10-bed step-down unit for hospital patients needing extra care ahead of discharge. Schedule: M-F; backup PRN physicians on call on weekends   Call: first call is to nurses who would call in a provider if needed   Team Support: Nurses, CNA, OT, COTA, PTA, and case manager Unit is located on the 6th floor and boasts a breathtaking view of Snake River Valley Level III Trauma Center, 145-bed facility Qualifications: BE/BC in PM & R or Physiatry Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of ID and DEA with full prescriptive authority  St. Joseph Regional Medical Center is the largest full-service regional medical center between Boise, Idaho, and Spokane, Washington, providing advanced-level specialty healthcare, with more than 100 board-certified physicians and providers, active in both primary care and specialty practice.  Located in northern Idaho, Lewiston is a vital, vibrant city and part of the Quad Cities bordering Washington.
