Ascension St. John is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Neurologist to join our Comprehensive Certified Stroke Team:  Specialty: Neurology Subspecialty: Epileptology  Schedule: M-F / 8-5 Practice Detail: Join our renowned staff of Neurologists at a JCAHO certified stroke center! *No call necessary (but available if desired).  EMR System: Cerner Location: Tulsa, OK This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. John to provide medical services to patients. Position Highlights: Elite team  Great work/life balance Be a part of a Comprehensive JCAHO Certified Stroke Center at the top of its game!    Responsibilities: Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.  Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested. Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner. Participates outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.
