The team you'll be part of
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobile networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G, we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
With Nokia's future becoming present, top candidates are expected to work on new generation mobile networks (5G, 6G, etc.), allowing autonomous cars, ultra-high speed, low latency connection, and millions of connected devices to become a reality.
You will be part of our Radio Service Delivery Team which concentrates our Technical Experts in Nokia's 5G rollouts in North America, focusing on many different customers and technologies.
What you will learn and contribute to
You will be part of an exciting Nokia Talent Development Program that prepares you for a career in the telecommunications field, where we look for agility, digitalization, and simplification that enables the scalability of our fast-growing business. The program offers you an inside view into our business, will challenge you to perform at your very best, and will allow you to work with different organizations internationally.
During the first six months, you will be involved in an intensive competency development program to prepare you for working in the complex Nokia business delivery organization. For the following six months, you will be assigned a mentor with extensive Nokia experience to support you in developing your technical skills and to allow your allocation in our 5G Projects in North America.
Your skills and experience
BS or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering

- Solid analytical skills and eagerness to find innovative/disruptive solutions to problems
- Flexible for travel 50% of the time for customer projects on-site and night work
- A strong communicator with excellent customer service and people skills. Fluent English is expected
- Team player and have a positive "can-do" attitude
- High motivation to work in an international corporation and to face the challenges and opportunities of digital change
- Programming skills a plus (Python / JavaScript / SQL)

This position is an entry-level opportunity for qualified candidates to develop and grow into Technical Experts in Nokia's 5G Radio Service Delivery Teams. Engineers will be given specialized technical training and experience to deploy, support, and lead the 5G and Beyond 5G technology wireless networks in North America.
