Summary
This position is located at US Mint,MINT- West Point - Plant Manager - Plant Engineering Maint Section. As a Supervisory Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic, you will supervise the installation, modification, maintenance, repair and upkeep of the Mint building, grounds, mechanical and electrical systems, utilities, machinery and equipment to insure continuous operating capability in support of Mint programs and planned production schedules.

Conditions of Employment
All employees must wear face masks while on MINT property when required by CDC and Federal guidelines.
A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.

Shift Work: This facility operates on a 24 hour per day, three-shift basis, 5 days a week. Work schedules may vary and assignment to a specific shift cannot be guaranteed. The successful applicant must be available to work on all three shifts on a rotational basis.
May be required to wear safety clothing and/or equipment required by the position. This may include safety shoes, hard hats, hearing protection, gloves, masks, etc.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.
You must meet the screen-out element Ability to Lead or Supervise, normally addressed at the beginning of the online questions. To meet the screen-out element, applicants must have. In addition, you must also obtain an average score of two (2) for the following elements for this position as addressed through the online question in order to be considered minimally qualified.
