Summary

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code Data Analyst, proficiency level advanced the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Generally, current federal employees applying for APS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the pay band, including higher responsibility positions. Based on the responsibilities of this position (Tier 1), the total adjusted pay may be capped equivalent to GS 15 at $191,900.
Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may or may not authorized to eligible selectees.
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Direct Hire Authority, authorized by 5 United States Code (U.S.C.), Section 3304 and 5 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 337, Subpart B. Veterans Preference and traditional rating and ranking of applicants do not apply to the Direct Hire process.
This position is in the Personnel Demonstration Project under authority of Title VII of the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978.
The pay schedule and pay band for all Demonstration Project Professional Positions will be DP-1/2/3/4.
This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
