**Locums | Physician - Infectious Disease | Clinic + Call | Indianapolis, IN (IMLC accepted)****Why This Role**- Full-time locum coverage for maternity/paternity leave at a Level 1 Trauma Center- Inpatient setting with no admissions required- Work alongside a dedicated team including RN, MA, and APP support**Assignment Details**- Dates: 12/1/2025 - 6/30/2026- Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours plus call- Patients per shift: 15- Call: 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month; beeper call; 30-minute response time- EMR: Cerner**Clinical Details**- Required skills: Microscopic specimen evaluation, management of vascular access devices/central venous catheters, familiarity with IV medications, aspiration of abscess, arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, thoracentesis- Not required: Central line placement, intrathecal administration of anti-infective agents, liver biopsy**Requirements**- Board eligible or board certified in Infectious Disease- Fellowship in Infectious Disease- Active IN license or IMLC- BLS certification**Skills Needed**- Microscopic specimen evaluation- Management of vascular access devices/central venous catheters- Familiarity with intravenous medications- Aspiration of abscess- Arthrocentesis- Lumbar puncture- Thoracentesis**Compensation Info**- Rates: Not published - facility is accepting bids- Malpractice: Provided and paid for by Archway Locums- Travel Expenses: Reimbursed Additional Information: - Specialty: Infectious Disease - Location: Indianapolis, Indiana, United States - Contact: About the Company: Archway Physician Recruitment is a national contingency placement firm assisting hospitals and medical groups with their placement needs.
