Summary
This position is located at Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will not be paid.
Duties
Serves as the principal office administrative support assistant operating independently of any other such position in the office.
Provides support and assistance to supervisor and, in some cases, his/her subordinate staff by performing varied general office duties auxiliary to the work of the organization.
Typical clerical and procedural duties of positions in this series include: maintaining records of leave and attendance;, requisitioning office supplies, repairs on office equipment, and printing services;, etc.
Administrative support duties typically provided by secretaries include: making extensive travel arrangements;, locating and assembling information for various reports, briefings, conferences, etc.
Maintains suspense records to insure commitments are completed as required.

Conditions of employment
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
1. The duties require a knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and requirements; various office skills; and the ability to apply such skills in a way that increases the effectiveness of others. The duties do not require a technical or professional knowledge of a specialized subject-matter area.
2. Must have progressively responsible work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform in such capacity.
3. Positions that have a typing requirement require that the incumbent type a minimum 40 words per minute and to be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Power Point software.
Experience MUST be reflected on your Resume at the time of application in order to be considered for this position.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
1. Must have at least one year processing Daily Activity Reports.
Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants may be referred for consideration at managements request.

PCS Costs
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
