Summary This position is located at DLA Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Learn more about this agency Duties Provides technical assistance to managers concerning appropriated and non-appropriated fund budgeting. Ensures the correct production of budgets and their execution including compliance with appropriate regulations, etc. Reviews and analyzes financial reports to identify trends, working capital and the NAFI's financial position Performs analyses of perform financial statements for proposed ventures; prepares/reviews return on investment schedules for capital projects; assists and guides managers deciding on capital reinvestments. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation. Financial disclosure is required. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience which includes: 1) interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems; 2) interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results; and 3) requiring the application of commercial budgeting techniques. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1.Possess at least three (3) years of experience with DOD NAF MWR in field that requires financial knowledge. 2.Must have knowledge of AR215-1 or equivalent and internal controls. 3.Must have knowledge of NAF and APF (UFM - Uniform Funding Management) Funding. 4.Do you have proficiency in business intelligence tools?
